Product Manager - Partnerships Team
London, UK (hybrid working)
We're hiring a Product Manager to supercharge our Partnerships team at iwoca.
You'll shape our lending API, boost partner conversion, and streamline key workflows - all while building finance that works for small businesses.
The company
Imagine a world where every small business has the power to thrive. That's the world we're building at iwoca. Small businesses aren't just statistics - they're the heartbeat of our communities, the character of our high streets, and the engine of our economy. Since 2012, we've revolutionised how these businesses access finance, turning what was once a lengthy, frustrating process into something remarkable: funding that's fast, flexible, and actually works for modern businesses.
Our impact speaks for itself: we've provided billions in funding to over 150,000 businesses across Europe, making us one of the continent's leading fintech innovators. But we're just getting started. Our mission? To empower one million businesses with the financial tools they deserve.
We combine cutting-edge technology and data science with genuine human understanding to make finance feel less like a barrier and more like a superpower. Whether it's managing cash flow or seizing unexpected opportunities, we ensure businesses get the funds they need - often within minutes.
The team
Our partnerships channel has grown rapidly to become a leading source of new customers for iwoca. We've partnered with a number of major small business platforms, like the digital SME bank Tide and eCommerce giant eBay, and they use our cutting edge API to embed iwoca loans into their customer journey.
The partnerships team is a mix of commercial, technical, and analytical experts, all united to build new partnerships and maximise value from existing ones. Our partnerships Product Manager will work closely with our Head of Partnerships to grow our revenues from partnerships and help take iwoca's growth to the next level.
The role
As the Product Manager, you'll shape the roadmap, steer priorities with stakeholders, and lead a team through complex, high-impact problems. Working side by side with engineers and designers, you'll turn insights into action, ship meaningful features fast, and learn from what works (and what doesn't). It's a role for someone who thrives on ownership, sharp thinking, and building products that deliver real impact.
The projects
You'll identify and lead a range of strategic technology projects, driving improvements across our systems, platforms, and infrastructure to support innovation, efficiency, and growth, such as:
- Lead the evolution of our lending API to support scale, flexibility, and deeper integrations.
You'll work closely with engineers and partner teams to design a platform that's secure, scalable, and easy to integrate. Example projects include rebuilding our lending API to support multiple products through a unified interface, and enabling deeper third-party CRM integrations for our largest partners. - Uncover and resolve friction across the partner-referred customer journey.
You'll use funnel analysis, user insights, and experiments to identify blockers and ship improvements that boost application completion and approval rates. For example, you might simplify document upload flows, optimise credit checks, or tailor journeys for different partners. - Continuously improve partner-facing tools, including the Introducer Portal.
You'll enhance how partners submit and track leads outside the lending API, with a focus on usability, transparency, and efficiency. For example, launching a reporting dashboard to show live conversion and commission metrics, and redesigning the lead submission journey to reduce confusion and improve quality. - Streamline internal processes that support the partner channel.
You'll work with the partner operations teams to reduce manual effort and improve service levels for partner-referred customers. This could involve automating CRM workflows, building status-tracking tools, or launching internal dashboards to monitor SLA adherence.
Essential:
- Professional experience in a product management or technical role.
- Strategic and discovery-led: You are curious and proactively identify problems, shape solutions, and own the roadmap - aligning stakeholders and driving delivery from insight to impact.
- A commercial mindset: You can understand the business' priorities and how to generate maximum value from your developer resource.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You thrive in environments that require building relationships built on trust and expertise.
- Strong data literacy and problem-solving skills.
- A strong interest in tech solutions, and how tech is built (even if you're not a developer)
- A strong numerate background, i.e. maths, physics, statistics, computer science, or similar.
- Experience with SQL, Python, or other programming languages.
- Experience with financial products or fintech.
We expect to pay from £60,000 - £70,000 for this role. But, we're open-minded, so definitely include your salary goals with your application. We routinely benchmark salaries against market rates, and run quarterly salary and performance reviews.
The culture
At iwoca, we prioritise a culture of learning, growth, and support, and invest in the professional development of our team members. We value diversity in thought and skill, and encourage you to explore new areas of interest to help us improve our products and services.
The offices
We put a lot of effort into making iwoca a brilliant place to work:
- Offices in London, Leeds, Berlin, and Frankfurt with plenty of drinks and snacks.
- Events and clubs, like bingo, comedy nights, yoga classes, football, etc.
- Flexible working.

- 25 days' holiday, an extra day off for your birthday, the option to buy or sell an additional five days of annual leave, and unlimited unpaid leave.
- A one-month, fully paid sabbatical after four years.
- Instant access to emotional and mental health support.
- 3% Pension contributions and share options.
- Generous parental leave and a nursery tax benefit scheme to help you save money.
- Cycle-to-work scheme and electric car scheme.
- Two company retreats a year, we've been to France, Italy, Spain, and further afield.
- A learning and development budget for everyone.
- Company-wide talks with internal and external speakers.
- Access to learning platforms like Treehouse.
