Job Description
In this role as a Sales Account Manager, you will drive ongoing strategic business growth initiatives and lead the continued development of a portfolio of strategic multi-site accounts across England. Your responsibilities include growing sales and building strong relationships with existing and new customers. Working with a team of technicians, product specialists, information system specialists, and partners, you will participate in the entire process from idea development and negotiation to delivery, engaging with stakeholders from C-level to implementers.
You will report to the Sales Manager End User Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) North EMEA.
Your Responsibilities:
- Sell the Connected Enterprise, Rockwell Automation's portfolio of solutions covering automation, smart machines, turnkey process solutions, safe network infrastructure, and information solutions.
- Be a specialist within your area and part of the EMEA Consumer affinity team.
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers, including global strategic and enterprise accounts, as well as new development customers.
- Develop strong, long-lasting relationships at customer sites up to C-level, within the eco-system and industry.
- Serve as the first point of contact supported by a team of technical consultants, product specialists, industry specialists, and solution delivery teams, covering the full sales process from presentation to delivery and follow-up.
The Essentials - You Will Have:
- Technical education and 5+ years of experience selling solutions to the Food & Beverage/Home Health Personal Care Industry or equivalent.
- Proven experience in delivering sales results and meeting commitments.
- Ability to understand and discuss customers' business plans and develop automation solutions.
- Experience engaging with decision-makers such as Site Managers, EHS Managers, Operations Managers, and Engineering Managers.
- Ability to lead the Customer Service Value Chain throughout the sales cycle.
