As part of our investment in people and our continued growth ambitions, dormakaba UK now offers a fantastic new sales opportunity for a Sales Professional to join our Mechanical Key Systems Sales team.
YOUR TASKS: A JOB THAT MATTERS
Our MKS sales team promotes our mechanical key and locking products to the security and construction industries through establishing and maintaining partnerships with suppliers and distributors. The primary role is to develop and manage a network of partners such as locksmiths, architectural hardware stockists, and others who specify and install our products in customer projects.
The second part of the role involves helping this network identify opportunities to supply and install these products, ensuring growth of our mechanical key systems business.
The key to success is managing these partnerships through regular contact and identifying business opportunities for our partners.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS REQUIRED
To be considered, you should demonstrate:
- Previous experience in a business development role within the construction or security product industries, focusing on client retention and building long-term profitable partnerships with distributors, contractors, or system integrators.
- Excellent negotiation skills
- The ability to work independently and remotely without close supervision
- Based in the Northeast of the UK, ideally in Tyneside, County Durham, Teesside, or surrounding areas.
