Job Description Job Title: Principal Engineer – Human Factors \n Location: UK Wide (Hybrid)\n Salary: Negotiable (Commensurate with skills and experience)\n What you’ll be doing: \n Assessing risks of human error and providing Human Factors advice \n Performing task analysis \n Working with Process authors to improve procedures to reduce risk of unintended outcomes \n Representing Human Factors at design technical reviews \n Conducting design substantiation reviews \n Supporting Safety Case delivery \n Leading Human Factors programmes of work \n \n Your skills and experiences: \n Essential \n Degree in Human Factors/Psychology or equivalent experience \n Demonstrable Human Factors experience \n Experience in delivering Human Factors into safety case in a nuclear setting \n Previous experience of stakeholder management \n Proven experience in coaching and mentor others \n Experience in writing assessment reports and safety cases \n Desirable: \n Chartered Ergonomist status with CIEHF (or capable of achieving this)\n Submarine experience \n \n Benefits \n As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. \n \n The Human factors Team: \n An excellent opportunity has arisen for...
