The Company
Abtrace is a venture-backed health tech company that creates digital health software to deliver population health interventions at the level of the individual patient. Our product continuously scans the entire health record of a patient to detect signals of deterioration, early onset of new disease and opportunities for preventative interventions.
We work with over 400 primary care practices covering over 4 million patients, and we’re expanding our customer base rapidly.
We have offices in London, UK and Porto, PT. We operate a hybrid working model and some of our team are fully remote. For this role we will give preference to candidates that can spend regular time collocated at one of our office locations.
The Role
This is a hands-on IC role that will require end-to-end product management, from surfacing and understanding user needs and jobs through to digging into the details of what and how to deliver work items alongside our technical and design team members. You will help to shape the work, oversee its delivery, and follow up on feedback loops once work has shipped.
We have product-market fit. Demand for our existing offering is accelerating. But the diamond is still rough. You will play a vital role in bringing our offering to maturity, polishing, broadening the offering, and getting our systems ready for massive scale. We’re not looking for an optimiser or a UX guru, but rather a safe pair of hands that is a mix of operator and craftsperson.
Requirements
- You are excited and inspired by our mission to transform healthcare by moving it from reactive to proactive through the safe and respectful application of technology and data.
- You’re pragmatic. You possess a sense of urgency yet know when to slow down, consider or gather more information. You have a history of making difficult trade-off decisions involving scope and priority.
- You’re a good bi-directional communicator. You can influence without authority, and you stay in service of the mission. You can hold multiple perspectives at once without getting tripped up. You can convey rationales and context to different audiences successfully. You can change your mind when a better idea presents itself and you will actively look for those better ideas.
- You have a few years of experience in B2B product management, preferably in health tech or a sector that you can bring transferable knowledge over from. You have experience working closely with product, engineering, data science, and design colleagues, and negotiating with internal stakeholder groups such as sales, compliance and support. Bonus points for time in an early-stage startup, around the seed or series A stage.
- You’re resourceful and comfortable with change in a time-constrained and ambiguous environment. Better yet, you are an agent for change, with an eye for improvement and a growth mindset, but also know how to endure organisational growing pains.
You don’t have to be the ideal candidate to apply. Get in touch if you’re a good match in some areas and want to grow into others or if you bring something else to the table that you think will make us sit up and take notice.
- Competitive salary, depending on experience
- Generous maternity/paternity leave
- Flexi working & possibility for remote working
- Company's office in Paddington - easy commute and comfortable surroundings
- Motivated, highly functioning, multi-disciplinary team
- We’ll equip you with laptop and any necessary gear
- As much freedom and independence as you earn, and a chance to grow rapidly as the company does
